Job Description

As a Store Manager at Belle Tire, you lead all aspects of store operations to achieve sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction goals. Acting as the business owner, you ensure operational excellence, develop high-performing teams, and deliver premium customer service. This role requires a hands-on, results-driven leader who drives performance and cultivates a positive, safe workplace where team members thrive.

 

What You'll Do

 

Leadership & People Development

  • Lead, coach, and inspire the team to achieve business goals and deliver premium customer experiences.
  • Develop and mentor team members through feedback, coaching, and growth opportunities.
  • Recruit, interview, and hire top talent on an ongoing basis.
  • Foster accountability, teamwork, and engagement aligned with Belle Tire's culture.
  • Conduct regular huddles and team discussions to align efforts with store objectives.
  • Think strategically to align daily operations with long-term store and company goals.

Sales & Customer Experience

  • Champion Belle Tire's 6-Step Sales Process to ensure consistency, trust, and sales excellence.
  • Support team members in understanding customer needs and providing solutions that build loyalty.
  • Drive elite results through goal setting, coaching, and recognition of top performance.
  • Drive sales across all products and services, including commercial and national accounts.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction metrics and take action to sustain and improve performance.
  • Drive business growth by identifying local market opportunities, building community partnerships, and executing strategies that expand the customer base and increase long-term profitability.

Operational Management

  • Oversee daily store operations including staffing, scheduling, inventory, facility, cleaning, and workflow management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and operational standards.
  • Manage vendor relationships, shop productivity, and product availability to meet customer demand.
  • Use data to identify operational improvements and implement corrective actions.
  • Continuously contribute ideas and business strategies to enhance store performance, customer experience, and brand visibility in the market.

Financial & Business Management

  • Own full P&L responsibility for the store, driving revenue, controlling costs, and ensuring profitability.
  • Analyze performance trends and execute company strategies to meet or exceed financial goals.
  • Maintain accurate records, inventory integrity, and compliance with financial controls.

Culture & Brand Leadership

  • Act as a Culture Champion by reinforcing Belle Tire's beliefs.
  • Promote a respectful, inclusive, and high-energy environment that promotes teamwork and pride in the brand.
  • Lead by example, creating a culture of pride, professionalism, and customer-first focus.

 

 

What We're Looking For

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 18 years of age
  • Valid drivers' license 
  • High school diploma or equivalent required;
  • 3--5 years of leadership experience in a retail or related customer-facing environment.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, achieve financial goals, and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Financial literacy and ability to interpret P&L statements.
  • Proficiency in POS systems, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office applications.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate or bachelor's degree preferred.

 

 

Work Environment

This position is based within a tire and automotive service retail store. Varying work hours, Monday through Saturday, with possible overtime. Fast-paced workshop setting with physical demands, including extended standing, lifting up to 75 pounds, and exposure to moderate noise, temperature changes, and shop conditions. Travel may be required for meetings, training, or multi-store support.

Compensation

$70,000 - $90,000 / year
