Auto Glass Call Center Associate

Job Description

The Auto Glass Call Center Associate is responsible for turning inbound and outbound calls into booked, revenue-generating, auto glass jobs. This role combines customer service, inside sales, and insurance coordination in a KPI-driven environment. The Representative handles quotes, schedules work, follows up on open orders and missed opportunities, and moves insurance referrals from claim to completed job. By partnering closely with retail stores, auto glass technicians, Fleet Call Center Sales Specialists, and insurance partners, the Glass Call Center Representative helps convert demand into scheduled work, reduce lost jobs, and support the company's growth goals for Fleet & Glass.
 
What You'll Do
  • Handle inbound calls from customers, Belle Tire stores, auto glass technicians, insurance companies, and Third-Party Administrators
  • Provide accurate auto glass quotes and convert quotes into booked jobs while meeting or exceeding defined conversion targets
  • Conduct structured outbound follow-up on open estimates, open orders, and missed quotes to recover lost opportunities
  • Schedule orders with stores and technicians to ensure jobs are properly prepared, reducing no-shows, rescheduling, and incomplete work
  • Support retail stores with glass-related inquiries, work orders, and customer communication to help them convert store traffic into glass sales
  • Understand and own personal KPIs such as call volume, quote-to-job conversion, outbound activity, cycle time, and referral closure rates Generate and maintain accurate work orders and customer records in the POS, Quest, CRM, and related systems
  • Perform general office maintenance and other related duties as assigned.
 

What We're Looking For
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ year of customer service, call center, retail, or related experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to clearly explain options, next steps, and expectations to customers
  • Comfortable working in a metric-driven environment with defined goals and accountability
  • Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively in a fast-paced call center environment
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn CRM, POS, Quest, and other sales tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in customer service, business, or related field5+ years of experience in a call center, inside sales, or automotive service environment
  • Experience working with insurance agents, TPAs, or auto glass service providers
  • Experience using POS and CRM systems
 

Work Environment
The position is based in an office/call center environment, requiring extended periods of sitting and the operation of standard office equipment, including computers, phones, and other office tools. Work hours are typically 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with occasional evening and weekend hours as business needs and call volume require.
